ABC Leisure Group has great experience of managing all types of multi usage, and multi owned canal boats. The original company Alvechurch Boat Centres has been in existence for over 35 years.

Along with operating a hire fleet of over 200 boats we also operate boats for other organisations and groups such as: The Bank of England, The RAF, The Navy, The BBC, Diamond Resorts, Ex Challenger Syndicates, Birmingham Health Trust, and more.

We are unique in that we own and operate eight strategically placed marinas and two boat building operations which means we can, if required, personally provide almost all the services required in the operation of a canal boat during its entire life. However, we also manage boats which are located on other companies marinas so using our own bases is not a prerequisite, although we can offer a financial benefit to those that do.

HERE IS A SUMMARY OF SOME OF THE THINGS THAT WE CAN PROMISE YOU AND YOUR CO-OWNERS
1. Maximum administration fee of £300* per 8% share per annum (price held for two years).
2. Free banking arrangements with the security of your own account.
3. 5% discount off winter maintenance work at our bases
4. Pay monthly by direct debit to spread the cost or pay six monthly by cheque or electronic bank transfer.
5. Two types of contract available:
(A) With each individual syndicate member – or –
(B) With the syndicate as a group where you have your own contract between yourselves.
6. Eight operational bases to offer you. We also manage boats moored at other bases not owned by us.
7. If required you have the choice of a dedicated mooring or a discounted floating mooring on our marinas which also attracts a discount off purchases and work carried out by ABC.
8. We can sell your resale shares for you on our extensive brokerage web site at a very competitive commission.
9. Boats can be added to our fleet insurance policy at very competitive premiums.
10. We can manage and record the annual draw of weeks and administer any amendments on your own individually accessed web site page.
11. We will carry out the syndicate / boat administration and are contactable 9-5 pm 363 days per year.
12. We can provide a 24 hour emergency contact service.
13. We have comprehensive industry experience, technical expertise and a wide range of contacts.
* £350 if not moored at an ABC Leisure Group owned marina.

We also provide a boat and share brokerage service, RYA Helmsman training and operate a customer service office 9am - 5 pm, 365 days a year. (Well, except Christmas Day and Boxing Day!)
