ABC Leisure Group has great experience of managing all types of multi usage, and multi owned canal boats. The original company Alvechurch Boat Centres has been in existence for over 35 years.

Along with operating a hire fleet of over 200 boats we also operate boats for other organisations and groups such as: The Bank of England, The RAF, The Navy, The BBC, Diamond Resorts, Ex Challenger Syndicates, Birmingham Health Trust, Canalboat Club and many more.
We are unique in that we own and operate nine strategically placed marinas and two boat building operations which means we can, if required, personally provide almost all the services needed for the operation of a canal boat during its entire life. However, we also manage boats which are located on other companies marinas so using our own bases is not a prerequisite, although we can offer a financial benefit to those that do.

HERE IS A SUMMARY OF SOME OF THE THINGS THAT WE CAN PROMISE YOU AND YOUR CO-OWNERS

1. Management fees from £250 including VAT* per 8% or 1/12th share per annum for a boat based on an ABC Marina.
2. Free banking arrangements with the security of your own account and monthly statements.
3. Monthly payment by direct debit to spread the management fees at no extra cost.
4. Boats can be added to our fleet insurance policy at very competitive premiums.
5. Free share resalelisting on our extensive brokerage and boat sales websites.
6. Discounted mooring fees on any ABCLG marinas.
7. 5% discount off any maintenance work or marina services including diesel and gas etc at our bases.
8. The ability to temporarily move operating base within the ABC group to avoid restrictions to cruising such as stoppages at no extra cost.
9. We also manage boats moored at other bases not owned by us at £350 including VAT per 8% or 1/12th share per annum Management charge when not moored at an ABC Leisure Group owned marina.
10.Our bases and central office is contactable 9-5 pm 363 days per year.
11. We can provide a 24 hour emergency contact service using our own marina staff.
12. We have comprehensive industry experience, technical expertise and a wide range of contacts.
13. We can carry out all the syndicate administration, and run the annual draw of weeks and administer any amendments on your own individually accessed web site page, by email or post to suit owners.

We operate two types of contractual arrangement:
(A) A contract directly with each individual syndicate member – or –
(B) A contract with the syndicate as a group where the syndicate have their own contract between owners.
But we can be flexible to meet a syndicates needs and bespoke a contract or service as required.
